Home buyers can automatically stay informed of real estate marketplace changes with SpatialMatch new Alert feature

I don’t know about others, but I had an experience once where a real estate agent just kept bombarding me with home listings.

Hundreds and hundreds of new listings. It was overwhelming. Took me forever to wade through all the info. In fact, it turned me off to the whole process and I never bought a house in that area.

SpatialMatch introduces a new feature that prevents losing customers by overloading.

This home Alerts feature makes it easier for buyers to follow the market for particular homes they want and easy for Realtors to keep their prospects up to date.

The map-based IDX and lifestyle search engine now includes an “Alert” control that allows a home buyer to indicate specifics about the type of property they want to follow.

An email tells them when there is a change in the market – new property, new pricing, etc.

Variables include: For Sale, New Construction, Recent Sales, Public Records, Beds, Baths, Listing Price, Home Size, Days on Market, Year Built, Foreclosure, Distressed, Keywords and Geography.

Using simple data sliders, a buyer chooses the criteria for the type of home they want to follow.

The property map search can be saved (this is a great lead generation tool for Realtors, they can require contact info at any time to use this fantastic search tool).

Grant Gould, VP with Home Junction Inc. that developed SpatialMatch said this feature will be appreciated by buyers who are in the early stages of doing research, but who want to be notified when there is a price change or  when other properties that meet their needs comes on the market.

Updates to SpatialMatch’s enormous IDX database are completed hourly.

“It’s close to real time and users will be one of the first to know when that new property hits the market,” Gould said. “This is an enormous benefit to them and a great marketing tool for brokers and agents.”

Gould said currently, when agents send out information, they do it by zip code which is “way too big.”

Or they send too many properties with amenities that the buyer does not want.

With the SpatialMatch Keyword tool, a buyer can indicate exactly what they are looking for, eg hardwood floors or a backyard pool.

“This allows them to really drill down to their specific needs,” he added.

In addition to providing consumers with state-of-the art IDX functionality, there is one more huge advantage for Realtors.

When the alerts go out, the link drives home buyers back to the Realtor’s web site, not to some other web site’s database.

This keeps these prospects as your prospects.

“From our background in real estate and the feedback we get from our large base of clients, we know what home buyers need and what agents and brokers can use to attract them,” John Perkins, CEO added. “Our mission is to constantly upgrade SpatialMatch so it continues to be the ultimate tool for the real estate profession and we’re sure you will like this feature.”
