SpatialMatch adds IDX real estate listings to lifestyle search engine

Today is another huge milestone for SpatialMatch in particular and the real estate industry overall.

SpatialMatch now features IDX real estate listings along with our 104 consumer information layers of lifestyle search engine data.

How does this appeal to home buyers?

Follow these steps:

1)      Harriet Homebuyer selects an agent who has genuine hyperlocal knowledge and tools because they display a SpatialMatch lifestyle search engine on their site.

2)      She chooses a neighborhood on the SpatialMatch map.

3)       A variety of “homes for sale” icons appear.

4)      She clicks on one of the icons and full MLS information pops up – rooms, square footage, subdivision, etc. There’s also a “More Details” button.

5)      Harriet can now display the lifestyle amenities she would like to have near her home.

6)       For example, she might select the “Shopping” category.

7)      She could then choose to turn on “Health Food Grocery”

8)      By setting the distance slider, she can determine how far she wants to live from her favorite food shopping store.

9)        Voila – her favorite health food stores appear on the map, with the radius circles showing how far they are located from properties she’s considering.

10)        She can repeat the same search for everything from local schools, to places of worship to parks to golf courses, etc. All on one screen.

“Integrating IDX into the SpatialMatch search functionality was one of our major goals from the start,” said Grant Gould, VP of Home Junction Inc.  “This ties in ALL the relevant information a buyer would need when looking for a home.”

As you can imagine, the advantages for real agents featuring this technology on their site is incredible.

“The implications of this technology for the real estate business is truly revolutionary”, said John Perkins, CEO of Home Junction Inc. “Now home buyers don’t have to look through reams of local community information or drive in circles around the neighborhood to see if it is the right fit for them.  In essence, with SpatialMatch’s search engine, finding everything from home listings to lifestyle amenities is right there on the map at their fingertips.”

Jason Preece, with Re/Max Creative Realty just added SpatialMatch to his site with the IDX feature.

“The overall depth is just awesome,” he said., “It (SpatialMatch) gives a ton of information that I would not have even thought of adding.” Preece said he likes the platform because he can post specific communities that he is focused on.

“This is especially helpful if someone is new to an area and it gives them a great feel for the community,” he added.

Imagine how easy this will make your job. Imagine how promoting this technology you have on your site will give you an edge in the marketplace.

So which agent are you? The type who still relies on old school, verbal local knowledge?

Or the type who offers SpatialMatch’s IDX and lifestyle search functionality with turbo-charged, 21st century, web-based hyperlocal data engineering?
